I ended my month-long pilgrimage through Eastern Europe in the 3 Baltic nations: Lithuania - every time Communists bulldozed crosses placed there in memory of loved ones, new crosses miraculously reappeared until it became a symbol of Lithuanian national identity standing against + overcoming oppressive tyranny. Today: Communism is now gone + Lithuania is free, but people still continue to place their crosses. And so did I... in Erica's memory. Amazing how such a simple symbol still generates such supernatural power against all oppositions! Death, communism,  Islam, materialism, consumerism, individualism... every ism will ultimately fail for 'the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.'
