In the midst of national crisis, the church in Sri Lanka did not shut its doors this morning,but opened its heart + God poured in His love during our Father's Heart seminar in Kandy. Uncertainty/fear may attack this nation, but the church is confident: Jesus is on the throne + no terrorist will move Him!
From Pakistani brickyards to Sri Lankan beach = quite a contrast in 1 day!... but someone has to do it! Putting my feet up for a few days until Prem arrives from Nepal + we join his friend in Kandy... nice place to rest here... quiet, sunny... until the wind came up + the monsoon blew in!
Palm Sunday services spill out into the streets in Pakistan! I had such a wonderful time with Pastor Shakeel + his church!
As Jerusalem received Christ publicly, so receiving Christ into our hearts + cities is not a private affair,
but as these believers boldly + openly declare their faith, the Lord stands with them!
I found my match in 1 of the brickyards: he's been making bricks from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week, for 35 long years to pay off a $2000 debt?! In the heat, dust + flies I didn't even manage to finish 1 brick! I don't think I could endure like him: he + his family need freedom from this bondage!
