Love him or hate him... you can't get here from there without driving down this road in Tirana!

Some of the many faces of Albania: lights rising in the Land of Eagles! Today I head south to Greece, looking for sunshine rather than snow. Where to exactly? I don't know, but I have a week to seek out Revelation roots. Guess where I'm headed?

We're off to eastern Albania this morning: headed out with the Good News to Pogradez + points beyond! We hit a headwind that caught us up into glory + Albania = Land of the Eagles, lived up to its name: gusts that lifted us right out of our selves!

Our team spent the last 2 days visiting/distributing food to needy Roma/gypsy families here in Tirana: a 7yr-old girl taking care of her brother + baby sister all day alone; father = stroke victim can no longer provide; health issues: physical, emotional + mental need healing! What is so little among so great need? You start with one: little is much when God is in it!

I joined up with the UK team in midst of London snowstorm, then landed in Albania thunderstorm = get the picture? a few storms along the way! But eagles spread their wings to rise above life's natural storms + Sunday in church with Korean pastors, I shared the spiritual eagles' gospel message! + later met Nicaraguan Christians on outreach here in Albania. The gospel is spreading throughout the earth! Koreans, Brits, Nicaraguans + a Canuck all gathered in Albania = its name translates as Land of the Eagles = a convocation happening!

This verse was key in stirring my initial interest to adventure, travel, explore the unknown, break through limited horizons to discover new lands, peoples, cultures + experiences. As I've now completed a few of these circles, I realize our life journey is more about coming to know the Way, the Truth + the Life Himself = Jesus, the Alpha + Omega, the Beginning + the End, And, as Robert Frost affirms in The Road Less Traveled... 'that has made all the difference.'

Flying out this morning again: this time from my home town Abbotsford -Calgary-Toronto-London-Tirana. Anyone know where Tirana is? = Albania! Anyone know where Albania is? the Balkans just across the Adriatic from Italy...with a team 9 days... and then 5 weeks = retracing steps from 48 years ago!
