'Come Follow Me' is Jesus' revolutionary invitation to know Him + make Him known throughout the earth. He is calling, healing, training, equipping + empowering disciples who disciple others to walk the Christ-life: the Way, the Truth + the Life!

Kootenay Homecoming!

Great time last weekend with Pastor Ted back in the Kootenays! The Slocan is as beautiful as ever; after 42 years, my log shack needs a bit more TLC - the roof's kind of caved in! but Jesus is building His church + hell's gates will not prevail! Thank you to all the church body who made this return to my spiritual roots so memorable!

I walked on the river a few weeks ago + 'just happened' to catch these 2 + they spoke Isaiah 40:31 afresh to me for this New Year:
'Those who wait = patiently rest + consistently look to do only
                               what we see Our Father in heaven doing;                              
shall renew our strength = Jesus' Joy is ours: what a Saviour!    
+ mount up = what a Resurrection: He rose + raised us also!  
with eagles' wings' = BOTH wings: we are never alone: He is with us!
